Historical hex editing.

Was going through some old scanned photos, here is Tom from perhaps 10 years ago.

Far from a technically good picture but still one of my favorites.
Finally got around to picking up a dual swing-arm monitor/laptop mount.

Still a work in progress, need to grab that secondary monitor and cable everything up.

Part of my introductory foray in to high definition TV and surround sound involved the discovery that my TV, while awesome, doesn’t have audio out. As such HDMI out from the 360 bypassed my new speakers and went straight to the TV.
The hell!?
The component cable simply doesn’t fit alongside HDMI on the 360 unless this simple “hack” is performed which involves removing the plastic casing with a shim or butter knife. In this manner video and sound go to the TV and stereo sound goes to the receiver. I’ll switch to optical eventually but this silly hack did the trick in a pinch.
Finally stickered this shiz up.

Thanks to my peeps for making with the contributions.
and the new set up:
Finally got the dedicated laptop on the right there. Been hella useful so far, able to keep the macbook as a satellite machine and the dedicated for media. Recently acquired cooling pad means always-on is not always-melted.
