This is the part of my t-shirt that pressed against the impact area for my immunization obstacle course.
and the new set up:
Finally got the dedicated laptop on the right there. Been hella useful so far, able to keep the macbook as a satellite machine and the dedicated for media. Recently acquired cooling pad means always-on is not always-melted.

Been spending an unhealthy amount of time squinting in to that eyepiece.
The future is in there, sort of.
Pic slightly related.

With moving comes an infrequent exposure to Medical Folks. As one in a constant state of relocation this infrequency is coupled with new dentists, eye care providers, and vets for each visit.
So I’m at another new dentist the other day who, after praising my perfect teeth and text book bite structure, asked about the state of my engorged tonsils. Apparently these things are supposed to atrophy at my age and having a solid pair bouncing around in there can restrict airflow. Hence, my snoring inquiry.
Guesses were made as to airborne allergens and a sleep study was suggested. Despite this coming from a guy that drills teeth for a living I am intrigued. Of course, in my mind cutting those bad boys out will increase my cardio endurance and possibly answer the question of why I am exhausted each and every day no matter the time spent sleeping as my own body attempts to strangle me from the inside out.
Few shots from the day trip to Sedona a while back. Higher res over on Flickr.

Pixie I oh-so-candidly-shot and referenced on Twitter during my diner breakfast.
Hit the jump for more RED DIRT.

I have a truck.
Friends know this.
Sometimes they make me haul things.
Things I don’t understand.

$5 cedar chest coffee table. Something I lugged from Chitown in the hopes of having an initial weekend project after the move. Luckily the dampness held off long enough for sanding, two coats, and proper drying with a pre-glossed polyurethane wood stain.

Chronological order be damned, this was post primary coat. Came out a lot darker.
